Speak Your Mind.
Fuck a Minority Grind.
With False Biblical Pretense

Hypocritical Nuisance.

Don’t be Critical.
Nor be Political Minimal.
You are NOT Invisible.
So Stop Being Divisible.
Be Unfeasible to the Melting Pot.
Who Only Wants You Interlocked.
Unprovoked and Remote.

So they Can Control.

Don’t Be Mystical be Indivisible.

You are Visible!

Awakening the Sleeping Giant!

“The United States of America is historically a nation of immigrants.” Charles Rangel. “Land of the Free, Home of the Brave,” has been the “motto” for America. Attracting many foreigners to dream of the ideology of living in a “free” country. Due to the level of poverty in other countries, these deprived nations have a belief of success, money, and opportunity is what America stands for. Determination is what makes dreams come true; it is what separates the strong from the weak. Determination is what has thriven many people from different countries to have the courage to leave poverty and risk crossing borders, swimming rivers, walking mountains and/ or deserts for a prosperous life.

Struggles of the immigrants who cross the border to be in a country that has been “known” to be a country of opportunity need light to be shed on. In retrospect the legal system is designed to fail politically and culturally for those that find the courage to migrate to the Unite States of America via labor exploitation and discriminating against immigrants who refuse to assimilate. Exposure to these stories are needed because political figures are the ones who acquire the control on society’s ideologies and presumptions. Furthermore, fail to empathize with the lives of the immigrants by making laws stricter on the borders hence creating volunteering groups filled with people who are racist like the “Minutemen”. The immigrant experience covers issues of US foreign policy, the border issue, and undocumented immigrants are all in the same when you come up through Mexico.

Yet, as we continue to make progress towards immigrants “Dream Act” there is still much work to completely live up to the American tradition. As America has had its ups and downs throughout its history there have been many events in which as a nation we did not live up to the American traditions of free society and equality for all. We have struggled with the acceptance of Immigrants in an Anglo-Saxon nation. Regardless of all the negative events there has been progress made. For the most part we have become more aware and tolerant of new cultures, and modern technology has brought out history more vividly. Thanking all of the activists that took part in the Civil Rights Movement who took a stand through protests suffering beatings, incarceration, and/ or death leaving my generation a legacy of resistance. Our focus on racial and social issues has become less radical and we now include more concern for the children who are the future of this nation. What used to be “hot” issues 50 years ago (such as allowing women to vote, child labor, higher wages and safe working conditions) are no longer problems now. Problems now are more hidden furthermore making society believe that discrimination, racism, and social injustices are not permissible. Consequently, blinding the community with false presumptions led by the dominant group of society. Even though, we are still in the process of perfecting the ideal American traditions and land of promise.

If you could do it all over again what would you say?

If I could do it all over again I would say No!

But it does not take away from what you have taught me therefore I was meant to try You!

Thank you for showing me hell, striping my morality, and driving me insane.

The feeling of ecstasy as the dope spread in my veins was my only happiness.

Sleepless nights were moments of infinite torture.

The pain and agony caused by You leaving my body, felt as if death was the answer to my reality:

“Don’t leave me….

“I need You….

“I cannot live without You….

Were thoughts that caused me a river of tears.

As You watched and laughed in my vulneralbility, I still longed for You.

At my moment of being broken I was able to lift my head, remove the veil, and fly like an eagle.

I will keep flying because it is in my weakness that I discovered my true strength.

The battle continues with others whom You have chosen but in my testimony many will be saved.

Thank You Crystal meth for showing me the time of my life hence molding a character of a lifetime.
